From College To Corporate…

Professionalism, a monster that eats all the emotions of  the mankind. You don’t realize when the virus comes into your veins and to what extent it captures your brain. One fine day when you find yourself  standing in front of a mirror you do appear what you are but not what you were. Today the way you articulate, the way you walk, the way you carry yourself everything counts , which  hardly  had any materialistic importance earlier for you. Your loquacity has been cut down by your e-mails, which are well catered in a precise and lucid manner.Whatever you write is taken into account. There is something that makes you endurable against the cacophony of your boss, had it been earlier with   someone you would have given right on his face. Though your tolerance threshold has increased but the frustration      lies and it  is either impelled on some innocent fellow or shoved off on a stress buster at your desk. Leaves are taken with a great planning which was never required before bunking lectures. Today  Time is money  and you are too poor to afford it for others.

Darwin’s theory applies everywhere and has become a memento for you now. You get a group of colleagues but not friends like before, with whom you used to share  your problems, and if  you find someone  then the geographies are changed as soon as you become good friends . Thanks to the almighty who invented Cell Phones and Internet which makes it feel your dear ones virtually  real to you. :)   . No matter how reluctant you are for the changes to take place you adapt it happily and innocently as the grounds are different now.The time has changed and so are you. It is positive till you are successful in keeping your personal and professional lives apart, if you fail you are dead actually.

That’s all what you’ve gained during  your journey from a small class room to The Large Office.

  12. While reading, I was entangled in thought(s) and felt like sucked back to the time we were together.

Nice compilation, made me feel nostalgic and on grounds. Its hard to pen down in words, the transition period , that every one among us confronts , but you did it nicely.

As said, both the life and the time is transient. But you know, other wise-saying states : every other entity hates the change yet have to accept and so us we.

From my personal stance, I can say, it is the need(s) from the life which prompt us to have a change. Interestingly, our needs are transient and we are not. Maybe, it is law of nature (as quoted here- Darwin says the same) so to conclude, it better to accept the change, isn’it.

Far as your post is concerned, I simply love the way you quoted, “Time is money and you are too poor to afford it for others ” and “Professional life and Personal life are to kept apart” , a lesson for life. A lot to say(comment), a lot to move and a lot learn.

But for now, I wish the coming period will bring us more opportunity both personally and professionally and awe-inspiring blog post on the same grounds. So let’s take it positively (only way to be happy) and let’s keep changing, keep learning and keep moving then someday I’ll co-author your book (as you planned) Titled : ………………… I leave it for you (fill it when you feel like, you learned enough to title your life)

    God Bless,

    Harshit

  13. In simple words , ” It is the voice of life- that comes to us and tell us to grow, to change, to accept and to learn”
